How to have your information deleted
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you do not need to give a reason.
To make a request
Email info@mybodybyhollie.com with the subject line "Data deletion request", and include:
Your full name
Your Instagram handle or Facebook name, if you have contacted us on either platform
The email address or phone number you have used with us, if any
That is all we need. We use these details only to find your records and confirm the request came from you.
What happens next
We acknowledge your request within 5 business days
We complete the deletion within 30 days
We email you to confirm what was deleted
What gets deleted
Your Instagram and Facebook Messenger conversation history held in our systems
Comments you have left on our posts or advertisements, as stored in our systems
Your name, contact details, enquiry notes and consultation notes
Any appointment records relating to you
What we may need to keep
If you have been a paying client, Australian tax law requires us to retain financial and business records for seven years. In that case we delete everything except the minimum records we are legally obliged to hold, and we tell you exactly what has been retained and why.
We also keep aggregate figures, such as how many enquiries we received in a given month. These contain nothing that identifies you.
Deleting the conversation on Instagram or Facebook
Deleting a chat inside the Instagram or Facebook app removes it from your view of that app. It does not delete our separate copy, so please contact us using the process above if you want our records removed as well.
